The lightweight build is meant for long wear, so you can keep them on longer without constant adjusting. Instead of the common heavy (and crack-prone) glass lens, Castaway uses a lightweight TAC polarized lens—so you get polarized performance without the weight that can make some heavier pairs uncomfortable.
Protection is covered too: the lenses are UV400 protective to help shield your eyes from UV rays, and they’re also impact resistant and FDA approved—built with everyday eye protection in mind. When you’re not wearing them, your shades come with a Detour pouch to help keep them protected between uses.

Your shades are covered for 6 months! If life throws you a curve ball and you break them within this period just send them back and we will get them repaired or replaced, no questions asked!
Scratched lenses are not covered. Limit to amount of times you can claim a warranty replacement is once per pair.
