Detour designed Castaway to deliver a vintage retro look rolled into a modern and affordable bundle. You’ll see tons of gold details paired with a high quality TR90 frame, giving the frame a classy, polished finish while staying lightweight. Comfort is also baked into the details: the nose pads are made of super soft, high quality silicone to help prevent the annoying pressure points that can happen after a few hours.
Instead of using the common heavy (and crack prone) glass lens, Castaway uses a lightweight TAC polarized lens. The result is a polarized lens setup that keeps weight down while still delivering the everyday coverage you want. For protection, the lenses are UV400 Protective to help protect your eyes from UV rays. They’re also impact resistant and FDA approved to help protect your eyes from flying objects—making this a practical option when you want something you can wear with confidence, not something you have to baby.

Your shades are covered for 6 months! If life throws you a curve ball and you break them within this period just send them back and we will get them repaired or replaced, no questions asked!
Scratched lenses are not covered. Limit to amount of times you can claim a warranty replacement is once per pair.
