Sky Blue Lens Polarized - Riptide is Detour’s first frameless model, built to give you big style and solid quality without paying triple-digit prices. Each pair is designed with comfort in mind, featuring super soft, comfortable silicone nose pads and gunmetal arms/hardware for a clean, low-profile look that still stands out.
Up front, you’re getting polarized UV400 protective lenses to help protect your eyes from UV rays. The lenses are also impact resistant and FDA approved to help protect your eyes from flying objects—so you can wear them with more confidence during everyday sun and on-the-go plans.
Storage is handled with a free Detour pouch included with each pair, making it easy to toss them in your bag or keep them protected when they’re not on your face. The product page also includes a Virtual Try-On App option, so you can try the frames on from your phone before you commit.
Detour backs these shades with a 6-month warranty: if you break them within that period, you can send them back to be repaired or replaced. Scratched lenses aren’t covered, and warranty replacement is limited to once per pair.

Our Riptide Frame Fits Medium/Large Faces Best. Fit guide measurements shown: 145mm (frame width), 54mm (lens height), 10mm (bridge), 147mm (arm length).
Your shades are covered for 6 months! If life throws you a curve ball and you break them within this period just send them back and we will get them repaired or replaced, no questions asked!
Scratched lenses are not covered. Limit to amount of times you can claim a warranty replacement is once per pair.
